MODA LISBOA - SINGULAR
Here’s a complete rundown of this season's edition of ModaLisboa – SINGULAR.
DAY 1
As per tradition, this edition started with Sangue Novo (New Blood) a contest where new designers showcase their first collections.
With 10 designers competing, EDGAR FERNANDO made his runway debut walking for Lolo and Gabriel Silva Barros.
Also debuting for Moda Lisboa, international model MÁRIO CLARA walked for Duarte Jorge, Gonçalo Oliveira and Inês Arthayett.
And for the 4th season in a row, ALEXANDRA NEVES walked for Dri Martins, Francisca Nabinho and Inês Arthayett.
Following the Sangue Novo segment, Constança Entrudo returned to Lisboa Fashion Week’s calendar with an off-site presentation with EDGAR FERNANDO and ALEXANDRA NEVES.
DAY 2
Celebrating their work in elevating and publicizing Portuguese brands, publication Portuguese Soul chose MINGZE LI and Alexandra Neves for their presentation.
Next up, for the Workstation segment and fresh out of Milan, TOMÁS DINIZ walked for Mestre Studio by designer Diogo Mestre.
ANA MIGUEL walked for Arndes as well as DARIA MIR, marking the international model first steps on the Portuguese runways.
Designer Carlos Gil followed. Debuting at Moda Lisboa was international model DIANA SANZ walking the runway alongside BEATRIZ MACHADO and RAQUEL BRITO.
Afterwards, it was time for Kolovrat to showcase her new collection with ALEXANDRA NEVES, MINGZE LI and TOMÁS DINIZ.
Next up, Buzina in a collaboration with jewelry brand Tous, had once more ANA MIGUEL on the runway, as well as DARIA MIR.
Then it was time for a special project to be unveiled - Green Circle x Beat - a pioneering and disruptive initiative showcasing a collection made in Portugal of sustainable and responsible produced clothing. On the runway were RAQUEL BRITO, BEATRIZ MACHADO and DIANA SANZ.
Next up, Ricardo Andrez chose MINGZE LI and ALEXANDRA NEVES to present his collection.
Luís Carvalho followed, presenting his new collection with BEATRIZ MACHADO who opened and closed the show. ANA MIGUEL, DARIA MIR and TOMÁS DINIZ also stepped on the runway.
Ending the night, it was time for Behén with DIANA SANZ and RAQUEL BRITO walking the runway.
DAY 3
Beginning the last day, we’re back to Workstation designers with Bárbara Atanásio enlisting DIOGO GUERREIRO, EDGAR FERNANDO and VICENTE SANTOS to showcase her collection on the runway.
Sticking to her alter ego, Duarte Hajime, designer Ana Duarte had on her runway international model SONYA G., making her debut at Moda Lisboa, alongside EDGAR FERNANDO, RODRIGO ALMEIDA and VICENTE SANTOS.
Next up, Luís Onofre, mostly known for designing shoes and accessories, chose BEATRIZ MACHADO, RAQUEL BRITO and VAL to present his new collection.
Up next, Luís Buchinho requested SONYA G., RAQUEL BRITO and VAL to walk for him.
Designer Valentim Quaresma followed with BEATRIZ MACHADO, DIOGO GUERREIRO, EDGAR FERNANDO and RODRIGO ALMEIDA all walking for his brand.
As the night comes to an end, RAQUEL BRITO opened the show one more time for Gonçalo Peixoto. SONYA G. and VAL were also chosen to represent the designer at this season’s show.
Closing the night and presenting his new collection, Dino Alves chose DIOGO GUERREIRO and RODRIGO ALMEIDA to walk for him, thus ending this edition of Moda Lisboa.
